The SOPA act has good intentions, but I believe it to be too strict. They would be limiting most popular sites, to the point where people will rebel. I agree that something needs to be done, but what else can you do about piracy? People will continue to copyright, no matter what the bills. This bill may help, but it also may cause a lot of controversy.
